Farm stands in Ellijay, Georgia

Most Ellijay stands sit on the roads out of town rather than downtown. There's a run of them along Highway 382 west, another spread east on Highway 52 toward the orchards, and a scattering on the back roads — Old Highway 5, Boardtown, Whitepath, Tails Creek. A few are close enough together that you can hit two or three without doubling back.

What's out changes week to week. Late summer and fall bring apples, and the bakery and egg stands run on their own schedules year-round. Almost every stand posts what's fresh to its own Facebook page, which is why every listing here links straight to it instead of quoting hours we can't keep current.
